Working every week with the students of the directing department, you will become familiar with the camera. Practice with advertisement exercises or short films.

Discover special effects (green screen shooting, makeup, prostheses…) with the students of the anim/fx department.

Take an active part in real film making supervised by professionals.

Prepare your arrival in the professional world

Be able to work on English-speaking TV sets

Master casting and audition techniques

The objectives

The training in Acting allows you to gain technical skills and to develop the creative talents required to be an actor.

From text analysis to shooting, from improvisation to casting, you will study all techniques of creation of a character. You will learn how to integrate yourself in the professional world. Your time will be shared between theoretical and practical courses, between exercises and real film making.

The courses given (around 18 hours per week) allow future actors to gain emotional, physical and vocal basis according to three axes:

Curriculum

IMC Normandie offers you a complete training in three years.

Theoretical and practical courses (18 hours per week) are span into two semesters. Then there is film making period supervised by teachers and professional externals. Each semester ends off with an evaluation which validates your passage to the next year.

The three years must be validated to achieve the degree.
